Inshore Fishing
Explore Tampa Bay’s Backcountry Waters for Excellent Inshore Fishing
As fun and exciting as fishing offshore can be, conditions aren’t always best for going too far out to sea. Not to mention, there are over 200 different fish species in Tampa Bay alone, making it just as rich a fishing experience inshore as it would be going deep-sea fishing. Best of all, Reel Charters’ captains know every waterway, shallow flat and backcountry area where the most fish can be found. If you want to enjoy your fishing adventure on calmer waters but still pull in fish “hand over fist,” Reel Charters’ inshore fishing charters are your best option. Our inshore expeditions are great family fun and perfect for fishing persons of all ages and experience levels.
Navigating Tampa Bay’s Waterways
During our inshore charters, we bring our passengers through shallow stretches of water and the backcountry of Tampa Bay, Florida’s largest open-water estuary. At the Bay’s deepest, it’s only about 11 feet! Yet, just because the waters don’t stretch far down doesn’t mean plenty of life exists in these shallows. We bring you to the areas where fish are most likely to bite, depending on the weather conditions and time of year.
